Let’s talk about the everyday use of my Wacom Tablet
You are here because you are probably debating on buying a Wacom tablet or not? Is it useful? why do people buy one?
Well, I am here to help you make a decision by sharing how I use my Wacom tablet every day!

1- WHAT WACOM TABLET DO YOU USE?
So, they are a lot of option when shopping for a Wacom tablet.
You are going to be probably overwhelmed, and won’t be able to determine which one is for you.
So, if you are a beginner that is looking for a cheap option and doesn’t care about having cable, then the “One by Wacom” might be your winner!
This is the one I got while shopping for a drawing tablet.
I actually have an iPad that I use for drawing and export directly to Adobe Illustrator.
But, I needed a drawing tablet to be able to work directly on my computer!!
Alright, now let’s get right into the everyday use of my Wacom Tablet.
2- THE EVERY DAY USE OF MY WACOM TABLET
So, you can guess that as a Graphic Designer my favorite programs to use are Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
It comes with no surprise that my everyday use of the Wacom tablet is done on those two programs.
So, the question is: what tools inside AI and Ps do you use using the drawing tablet?

Adobe Illustrator
Alright, in Illustrator, I love to use my Wacom tablet to draw vector logos, Illustrations, and custom Types.
The tools I use the most with the pen and the tablet are:
- Pencil Tool
- Brush Tool
- Eraser Tool
- Shape Builder Tool
- Direct selection tool
It is a habit now, not to use my mouse but the drawing pen using those tools on Adobe Illustrator.

Adobe Photoshop
So, in Photoshop, I love to use my drawing tablet to either paint on a picture or help me mask some object out of a picture.
The tools I like to use with the pen are:
- Lasso Tool
- Pen Tool
- Brush Tool
- Healing tool
- Dodge Tool
- Eraser Tool
I don’t think I could ever use those tools again with my mouse only!!
