So, in this blog post, we will go into a deep explanation of the video app called Mojo.
What’s is the Mojo App? Do you need a subscription? And finally, how to use it to edit amazing, animated videos and photos?
Alright, let’s dive right into how to use the Mojo App.
1- WHAT IS THE MOJO APP?
Mojo is an app that helps you create stunning animated Instagram stories.
But that is not it! With this app, you can also create YouTube intro, social media cards, green screen, Pinterest pin videos, and more.
The use of this app is endless, and we are about to go over everything in this article.
So, I think it is important for you to know that Mojo is available on iPhones and Androids.
2-DO YOU NEED THE SUBSCRIPTION MOJO PRO?
The quick answer to this is NO.
But, understand that this app requires a subscription to use all its feature.
So, I have been a mojo Pro user for about two years now, and I like being Pro.
As I said, the possibilities are endless, and I love to create my video content with this app.
Now, you can start using the app for free with limited access.

3-DISCOVERY PAGE AND TEMPLATE
So, welcome to the Mojo App.
Once you downloaded the app and opened it, you will end up on the discovery page.
This is where you can find all of Mojo’s templates created for you to use and edit as your liking.
You can use one of the templates as it is or edit it from A to Z.
So, browse the discovery page.
You will see that there is a lot of different categories.
My favorites are Digital and Scrapbooking.
4- UNDERSTAND THE TEMPLATES
Alright, now that you found the template you like, click on it.
So, as you can see each template has its own animation.
You won’t be able to change that animation, but you can change everything inside of it.
Now, on your screen, you can notice two things.
One big “+” on the bottom right and a brush on the bottom left.
Let’s start with the brush.
The Brush Tool
So, if you click on the brush tool, you will be able to change a couple of things like the template, the colors, and the background (with videos or images from your camera roll) or you can choose an animated background from the Mojo library.
Now, know that it’s also possible to add music, change the format of the template (from Instagram story to Instagram Post format for example), and set the duration (up to 60sec).
The "+" Tool
So, if you click on the “+”, you will have access to:
- Your media: add a picture or a video to the template
- Text: add animated text to your template
- Graphics: add gifs, stickers, and logos.
- Page: add another page with a same template or a different one
5-HOW TO USE THE MOJO APP
Ok, now that you are all set, it’s time to edit the template.
So, I invite you to add your media, set the duration, and change the colors.
You can add your brand colors and fonts if you are a Pro user.
Now, click on the text you see to edit it.
So, you will see new options here.
Say hello to style, font, size, alignment, color, timing, and more.
These functions are pretty self-explanatory. So, I won’t go into details.
However, the thing I want you to focus on is “style”
So, click on “style” and look at all of the text animations.
Text Animation
So, again you can look at the categories on the top.
You will find:
- Title
- Caption
- Social
- Dynamic
- Repeat
- Swipe Up / Link in Bio
- Shop
- Special
- Numbers
- Double
Now, it’s time to create.
So, choose one of those and edit it.
You can change the color, replace it wherever you want on your template by holding and dragging, change the font, and more.
Graphics
So, do you remember the “+” tool?
Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
Alright, into “graphics” you can find some really cool stickers and also add some more media into little windows/frames.
That is very useful to add a media on top of another media.
If you go into “Gifs” you can find any gif from Giphy.com.
So, if you are creating your own gifs or have library gifs in Giphy that you like to use, it’s super helpful to have and fast to get access.
Last but not least “Logo”.
So, I will never say that enough but BRANDING your template is a must.
Now, add your logo to the app and always place your brand on your template.
