HOW TO EDIT REELS IN THE VLLO APP
If you don’t like to edit your reels on Instagram, I got you covered.
In this blog post, I am going to share with you how to edit reels in the VLLO App.
Don’t know what VLLO is? No problem!
VLLO is a video editor and maker.
So, with VLLO you can add music, text, mosaic, graphics, and sound effects. (and so much more).
This video editor is available on the App Store and Google Play.
So, you can download it for free and start using it without being a premium user!
Now that you know a little bit more about this app, let’s go right into how to edit reels in the VLLO app.
1- IMPORT FILE
Obviously, before getting started, you will have to have your footage ready.
So, film your reel on Instagram or on your camera.
Then, open the VLLO app.
Once you are in the app, click on “create video/gif”
From here, you will be able to select your footage.
So, after selecting your videos, click on the red arrow in the top right corner.
You will be asked to choose the aspect ratio as well as the content mode.
So, choose 9:16 for the ratio and “Fill” for the content mode.
Now, click on the red arrow.
VLLO will get your video ready!
2- EDITING PROCESS
So, it’s time for you to edit your reel.
The first thing you will see is the preview of your video, and then you will have access to different options on the side.
BGM is the music. If you click on it, you can add music from your library or choose music from the VLLO library (those are copyright free)
Now, you can keep scrolling down and look at all your options.
For this tutorial, I am going to keep it simple and will teach you how to edit reels in the VLLO app in 5 minutes!!
So, to edit your video, click on the first footage. This will bring you to a new couple of settings.
From there, you can animate the video, split it, mute the clip, and more.
To add some texts to your reel, click on “done” after editing individual footage. Then, click on “text” at the bottom of the app.
This will bring you to 3 options. (on the side)
Text, Label, or Caption.
So, choose the one you like and start adding your text.
So, a green box will appear above your footage.
This is the text you just added! You can place your text wherever and whenever!

3- EXPORT
Now that you played with a couple of the VLLO app settings and that you are ready to export, click on the export button on the top right corner.
So, choose a video format.
I go with Hight resolution and 30fps.
From there click “export” and your new reel will be added to your camera roll!
