You can’t tell me it doesn’t make sense! You will get more opportunities to get sponsorship or doing a friendly collaboration with your favorites brand if you have a website.
They will be happy to know more about you (thanks to the about page), they will see that you are serious about branding yourself and that you have more than one platform to talk about their products.
So, you should look at a website like a digital resume.
Your website doesn’t have to have 27363pages. You only need a home page (that can be an about page), a blog page (totally optional) but recommended, and a contact page.
A blog page is optional as I mentioned.
However, can you see the opportunity here? What if your blog posts were an extension of your Instagram posts?
3 – MORE TRAFFIC
Why Instagram influencers need a website? To increase the chance of being seen and get more views. Think about it!
If you do the job correctly and your website is good to go for SEO, people might find website searching for the things you are writing about.
For example, if you are writing a blog post about the Best Minnie Ears of 2020.
So, when people will search for that topic, they will find YOU.
Do you understand what I mean? I mean that once they found your website, they might even start following your Instagram account.
It’s a WIN-WIN.
4 – EXTRA TIPS
So, do you need a website if you have less than 10k followers? ABSOLUTELY!
Remember, you will gain followers thanks to your website. The best reason to start blogging.
Why invest my time blogging? Friends, you are already investing your time writing a caption, editing a picture, and finding the write hashtag.
What if you were doing the same without fighting with the Instagram algorithm.
